I’ve been silent here for the past couple weeks as I recharged the batteries some. The TTEE Training event in Austin was a great success with lots of interaction with my peers across the Americas geo. The TBSM 4.1 training sessions were packed with folks looking to learn about the new release and what it offers. Our labs were a bit challenging to complete via remote desktop sessions into one of the Austin labs, but we managed to get a few folks through the lab material. I concluded the week with a meeting to kick off the concepts I envision for the Business Service Management (BSM) Practice within Tivoli Services. We hope management will get behind this concept and embrace the changes needed for our success within the BSM space.
I had a great vacation down in the Savannah, GA area where I managed to get through three days of golf. Finished the week off with baseball games/practices with my boys where my oldest son’s Dodgers took first place in the SPBA Mustang National regular season (12-1). He starts the championchip playoffs tonight. His younger brother went 2/2 with doubles at each at bat Friday. Good stuff!
