One of the successful approaches I’ve seen used for any IT best practices or improvement initiative is to put it into the context of your organization – your own definitions for ITSM, discovering what you’re doing already but may not call it ITIL, MOF, etc., and aligning those to the IT best practice framework that makes sense (using the ITUP tool makes this a breeze) in your company.
